Chi-Hua Yu leads LAiMM, connecting artificial intelligence with computational mechanics, multiscale modeling and engineering design. His research spans materials, advanced packaging, design optimization and intelligent manufacturing.

He received his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University and held research positions at NTU and MIT, as well as a senior R&D role at CoreTech System. He joined NCKU in 2020 and became Associate Professor in February 2024.
